Uniting Church Adult Fellowship

Uniting Church Adult Fellowship (UCAF) is the coming together of women and men in the church for a wide variety of spiritual, social, educational, recreational, service and mission support activities.”
St Andrew’s UCAF has a membership of 15 adults who meet monthly for Christian fellowship with a variety of programs to suit the wishes of the members.
Meetings are usually held on the third Friday of each month (February to November), beginning with a cuppa at 10 a.m. The format is informal but includes a devotional segment, some business matters and a program, occasionally concluding with a shared lunch.
Although fundraising is not a major focus, some money is collected from monthly offerings, Fellowship of the Least Coin contributions and Bible Society donations.
Donations are distributed annually to such bodies as our Church, BUCO, Chaplaincy (School and Hospital), Frontier Services, Fellowship of the Least Coin, Bible Society and overseas missions.
We have also given practical gifts e.g. backpacks of school supplies for children in the Pacific area.
Each May we host an afternoon tea to “Celebrate St Andrew’s Seniors”.
Each Christmas we place Uniting Church cards in Bendigo’s Charity Card shop and help to man it.
Our group is usually represented at UCAF occasions such as Presbytery Fellowship gatherings and the State AGM in Melbourne.
